Below is my Wedding Cake, which was the one thing that went wrong on my wedding day. It did not look like I had told my cake baker. Also the cake had burnt tiers, then also had gooey tiers, then some were burnt on the edges and gooey on the inside. It was honestly not at all like I had tasted before at the tastings. My cake was the first thing I saw when I came into the reception, and immediately told Chad it was all wrong! Also, we paid for one of those pretty silver plateau cake stands and that was not there either as you can see from the picture! Anyway, we are receiving a refund on the cake. When I emailed the baker, she knew and immediately apologized said she had no explanation for what happened. Even though I was really disappointed with the way the cake was, atleast that was the only thing that went wrong/or that I was sort of upset about.
Our wedding day was absolutely awesome, we had the best time. I was worried about rain the whole week before as our forecast had called for 80%. However, come Saturday it was absolutely gorgeous, I could not have asked for better weather. I look forward to showing you more pictures from our day. We are settling in at home, I'm still trying to unpack boxes and get organized! Thanks to all my readers for the sweet messages congratulating us.
